I wrote in a previous blog post that your cell phone was replacing your wallet. Literally. (and your brain…but that’s later) – Well that day become official today. Google launched its Google Wallet application for Android users with NFC (near field communication). NFC is quite possibly the future of all digital business. it allows you to swipe your phone to pay for goods anywhere. But also to use your phone (by bumping it to another phone of pad) to share business cards, songs, pictures, bumping window displays to receive catalog info, bumping containers, bumping inventory…well you name it, your smart phone is capable of probably doing it. Makes that old bulge in your back pocket seem so old school now doesn’t it?
